Seminar on “Tools for evaluate the impact of integration to the poority, means of subsistence and forest management” has been organized at Institute of Strategy and Policy for Agriculture and Rural Development’s meeting-hall, No 6 Nguyen Cong Tru Street, Hanoi. The aim of the seminar is sharing experience and improving the draft of the publication about the impact of integration to the means of subsistence and forest management in mountainous provinces. Experts in this field and members of institute took part in the seminar.

Seminar on “Expanding market segment for the low income people” has been organized in 18th October 2006 by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Asian Development Bank (ADB). Low-income markets, with approximate 4 billion people, present a prodigious opportunity for the world’s wealthiest companies to seek their fortunes and bring prosperity to the aspiring poor. The seminar focused on the basic idea of the Bottom of the Pyramid model (BOP) as well as some outstanding example in Vietnam.

The 8th Consultant Project VIE/61/64 Board Meeting organized in Bao Son hotel, Hanoi, 22 November 2006. In this meeting, Project Director - Mr Ngo Van Thoan reported the rate of process, the results implemeting this poject and develop plant in future.
